Edward Hospital’s Cardiac Innovations and Structural Heart Center opens.

NAPERVILLE, IL—Construction of the Cardiac Innovations and Structural Heart Center on the ground floor of the Edward Heart Hospital has recently been completed. This outpatient clinic centralizes services providing cardiovascular patients with evaluation, testing, and consultations in one location conveniently located off the main lobby. The clinic has been designed to facilitate a team approach for the staff to implement new procedures and innovative solutions. Four exam rooms are large enough to allow for patients, their family members, and the medical team. The Board Room is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and conference equipment for caregivers to review cases as a team. The project also included a new Waiting Area, Echo Room, Phlebotomy Room, and relocation of some registration services all in approx. 4,700 sf of renovation. M&CA worked closely with the design/construction team, including the Owner, Consultants, and the Contractor to ensure a seamless renovation process during this 2-phase project.

Edward Hospital is a part of Edward-Elmhurst Health, one of the larger integrated health systems in the State of Illinois.
