Elmhurst Memorial completes expansion of Progressive Critical Care Unit.

ELMHURST, IL—Elmhurst Memorial Hospital recently opened a new unit to expand the size of its PCCU. As part of the work, existing non-clinical support spaces and offices were relocated to make room for four new patient rooms, with necessary nursing and clinical support spaces. The completed project consists of approximately 4,765 sf of work. M&CA worked closely with the design/construction team, including the Owner, Consultants, and the Contractor to ensure a seamless renovation process during this 2-phase project.

Elmhurst Memorial Hospital is a part of Edward-Elmhurst Health, one of the larger integrated health systems in the State of Illinois. Edward-Elmhurst Health is comprised of three hospitals – Edward, Elmhurst and Linden Oaks Behavioral Health.
