Holland Hospital completes 10-month-long Cath Lab build out

HOLLAND, MI—This past week Holland Hospital opened its new Cardiac Catherization Lab Suite after
a 10-month-long construction process. The project includes the creation of new Cardiovascular and Special Procedure Rooms, a 10-bed Cardiac Short Stay Unit, a dedicated waiting room, 2 Inpatient Holding Bays, and staff support areas. The department relocation will significantly enhance the patient experience, workflow efficiency, increase staff satisfaction and position the hospital as a leader in cardiac care and diagnostics. M&CA provided all the architecture, planning, and interior design, working closely with the construction team, including the Owner, Contractor and Consultants to create a unique environment in a medical office building originally designed by Matthei & Colin Associates and completed in July, 2014.
