Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Holland Hospital
Holland MI

The 13,000 SF Cardiac Catheterization Lab includes the installation of new Cardiovascular and dedicated Special Procedure Rooms, a 10-bed Cardiac Short Stay Unit, a spacious waiting room for family, two Inpatient Holding Bays, and staff support areas. The department relocation will significantly enhance the patient experience, workflow efficiency, increase staff satisfaction and position the hospital as a leader in innovative cardiac care and diagnostics. The suite serves patients with various heart issues as well as vascular problems that require interventional radiology care and is designed to meet the short-stay cardiac needs of a growing community. Constructed in the lower level of a two-floor, 33,000 SF medical office building on the hospital campus, the design maintains connectivity to the hospital and the ability to share other clinical and building services. An exterior courtyard was created between the new facility and existing hospital to allow natural lighting in cardiac rehabilitation, physician offices and also provides a unique experience for patients and staff.
