A multi-phase project designed to create a lasting, positive impression with patients and families which supports a dedicated holistic approach to patient-focused care. Known for their maternity services, Edward Hospital continues to maintain high standards as the most preferred hospital for obstetrics in Chicago’s west and southwest suburbs. The project enhances their commitment to patient awareness and offers access to complex medical specialties and innovative programming. The 56,900 SF facility includes 33 post-partum patient rooms, four ante-partum rooms, 16 bassinet nurseries, (two)-12 bassinet nurseries, 16 LDR’s, five triage spaces, 22 private NICU Rooms, C-section with recovery, lactation clinic and clinical support. New and improved services include amenities for the mother, in-room accommodations for family, a baby spa and expanded waiting and visitor spaces. The highly efficient layout provides for improved connectivity of the mother, baby and family members and complements the distinct goal of creating a stress-free environment for all.
